Intertribal Agriculture Council – Northwest Regional Summit

Join the Intertribal Agriculture Council (IAC) at the Northwest Regional Summit, an event designed to strengthen Tribal food systems in the Pacific Northwest and improve access to vital resources that support Indian agriculture and food sovereignty.

Tailored for Tribes and individual Tribal farmers, ranchers, fishers, food gatherers, and entrepreneurs, this summit offers a collaborative space to explore emerging market opportunities, exchange knowledge, and cultivate partnerships. Key agenda topics include meat and poultry processing, export readiness with IAC’s American Indian Foods (AIF) program, the National Intertribal Food Business Center, agroforestry, fisheries business resources, composting, small-scale solar for farms, soil health, funding opportunities, and USDA support for Tribes and individual producers. Attendees will also have the option to participate in two field trips: a visit to the Kalispel Bison Ranch and a tour of the Spokane Tribal Network’s Tribal Food Sovereignty Project.
