Colorado State Team
The Colorado state team acts as a vital link between small- to mid-sized food and farm businesses and the Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center ( NWRM RFBC). CO team members engage with communities statewide to provide information, business support services, and financial resources, fostering growth and sustainable outcomes for food entrepreneurs involved in local and regional food systems.
The team is co-led by the Colorado Department of Agriculture and Colorado State University, along with seven advisory committee members representing key agricultural and food sectors within the state. Their priorities include, but are not limited to: supporting underserved businesses and geographic areas, addressing regions of persistent poverty, and assisting farm businesses in creating value-added products from their own or locally sourced produce.

Although the Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center concluded operations in July 2025 following the cancellation of USDA Agricultural Marketing Service funding, the following resource links allow Colorado businesses to locate events, technical assistance providers and funding.
