Northwest Food Hub Network Summit

February 16 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm PST

Each year, the Northwest Food Hub Network Summit brings together local food systems organizers from around the region for a day of dialogue, learning, and relationship-building. The upcoming edition of the event will be hosted Friday, February 16, 2024 in the Cataldo Ballroom on the campus of Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.

Doors open at 8am PT for conversation over breakfast before presentations begin the following hour. We’ll break at midday for a locally sourced lunch served on site and convene for a social hour after programming ends at 3pm PT.

  • Building the Network—An inside look at the forms of deep collaboration, relationship-building, and innovation at the core of our cooperative model.

  • Value Chain Investments—Agency representatives preview initiatives designed to deliver the resources that regional value chains need to thrive.

  • Growing Farm to School—Community advocates describe their organizing and capacity-building efforts to bring students closer to their local farms and the food they grow.

  • Producer Perspectives—Members explain how their cooperative food hubs cultivate economic democracy, a sense of community, and stewardship of our local food ecosystems.

  • Networking Beyond the Northwest—Food hub network organizers from all corners of the country share their experience, insights, and outlook on the future of our movement.
